Taylor began her YouTube career, first through the recording of an ASMR videos on her mobile. PewDiePie featured her in an online gaming video shortly after she reached 50,000 subscribers approximately 1 1/2 months after launching her initial video. Taylor had stopped making videos approximately two months after she was able to count close to 100 000 users. She put all her videos into private because of technical issues with her new technology. After a break of a month Taylor began to make videos in the new year, such as the popular ASMR 10 Triggers to Help You sleep (35 million views by August 2022). She uploaded ASMR 20 triggers to assist you in your sleep on July of 2017. (38 millions views by August 2022). In August 2017, she appeared interviewed by Shane Dawson for his video and shortly thereafter, reached a million YouTube viewers. Wired UK estimates that her YouTube advertising revenues were $1,000 each week from February to March 2019.

Dennis Helfer as well as Elaine Helfer were the parents of Helfer who was born. Her parents are from German and English heritage. She studied at the William E. Hay Composite High School of Stettler in Alberta. The school was located on the family's farm along with her three sisters, Trena, Tammy and Tara. A modeling agency scout discovered Helfer at the age of 17, while standing in line to see a film.
